Guillain-Barre Syndrome Foundation International(GBSFI) - Churg-Strauss Syndrome is sometimes diagnosed incorrectly as Guillain-Barre, which can have dire consequences.  Guillain-Barre patients do not receive steroids, and so the condition of a Churg-Strauss Syndrome patient thus misdiagnosed is likely to worsen.
